About Nina Rose

Hello I am Nina Rose, a mother of two daughters in the Tahoma School District, a U.S. Army combat veteran, and a long-standing community volunteer. My husband and I have proudly called Maple Valley, and Black Diamond our home since 2012—and my husband was raised here.

Currently, I serve as the Tahoma School Board Director for District 4 and as the board’s Legislative Representative. Over the past nine years, I have held leadership roles in the Rock Creek Elementary Parent Teacher Organzation (PTO). When I am not at the school volunteering, you will catch me on the field or in a court, coaching two youth sports. I continue to also volunteer with local organizations, building strong relationships across the community.

My vision for Tahoma, is where every student feels safe, supported, and empowered to succeed. Leading with a commitment to being available, accessible, and accountable—values that guide every decision that I choose to make.

I believe that strong schools are built through listening, collaboration, and community partnership. My leadership is rooted in showing up, asking thoughtful questions, and advocating for real solutions. I am here to serve—and am ready to finish what we started.
